As a screenwriter, my core beliefs reflect through my writing. I use time travel to explore family connection, highlight dialectical thinking, and convey comedy through grotesque pain and language. I'm drawn to character studies and high concepts that enable distinct, original storytelling.

A young man with dark curly hair, wearing a gray blazer, white t-shirt, gray pants, white sneakers, and a watch, sitting on a concrete step outside a building with a glass door, a potted plant nearby, and a yellow taxi visible through the door window.

Who I am

  • Influences: My creative foundation blends the escapism of George Lucas, authentic dialogue of John Cassavetes with a technical mastery of the half-hour sitcom format inspired by James Burrows..

  • Education & Location: I attended the School of Visual Arts for Screenwriting. I am located in New York and currently seeking work.

  • Core Writing Philosophy: I utilize time travel and dialectical thinking to explore the intersection of complex family dynamics and the sharp, "grotesque pain" of comedy.

  • Current Project: Collaborating with illustrator Michael DeCarlo, I am developing a sci-fi comic series that examines mental illness and family separation through the lens of a temporal war.

  • Portfolio & Philosophy:I maintain a diverse portfolio of dark comedies and indie dramas built on the belief that authentic storytelling must be balanced with a keen understanding of commercial resonance.

The scene shows anthropomorphic bears in a chaotic setting, with a large bear in a blue blazer walking confidently, a female bear in a floral dress and pearl necklace, and a young bear in overalls. There are also human characters including a soldier on a watchtower, and other humans in distress amidst fires, lightning, and chaos, implying a time travel or adventure theme.

In regards to Alexander Gordon:

I have known Alex for at least two years. In that time, he has impressed me as very hard-working, eager to learn, creative and insightful. He is mature beyond his years.

Alex is very responsible and quickly responsive when asked to do anything. He would be an excellent addition to any group or working staff.
